Is Thailand Racist?

Okay… “Define Racism“: “Racism is system based on the practice giving one “race” more privileges than another, and subjugating, discounting, or oppressing the rights and economic opportunities of the target group the “-ism” is aimed at.

So Thailand doesn’t have a “system” in place that supports actions based upon beliefs that a particular “race” is superior to others. So … are Thais “racist”? No.

Are Thais Prejudice then? Yes.LBJ said it
Some Thais most definitely ARE prejudice against blacks… Africans, and anyone who has darker skin tones… including each other. That’s right–almost half the Thai population are darker skinned “Issan” people from the eastern half of the country. This is a poorer area of the country with inferior schools and less services. Women from the Issan are very exotic looking to Western eyes. They are the “brides of choice” for foreign men and they predominately are the girls who find themselves employed as sex workers throughout Thailand. Women from the Issan (Isan, isarn) region are considered to be “very sweet, feminine, natural, and innocent.” These people are also looked down upon as being the “Hillbillies” of Thailand. Basically … um… these rural people spend more time in the sun.

There are a lot of contributing factors to actions that mirror “racist Thai behavior”, but in the end it comes down to, Willie Lynch’s,Divide and Conquer” polices. To have top, you have to have a “bottom.” If the Chinese Thai has associated themselves with “the top,” then they have to have someone to be better than… don’t they? Forget who this benefits in the end … and forget there is NOTHING Buddhist about this behavior… when I as an African American see it in action, it LOOKS like Boot-licking. It looks like Thais are degenerating themselves by slavishly “Khao-Towing” to Europeans and White Americans regardless to the person’s education, level of morality, mental stability, or intelligence. If Buster shows up white, they bow and scrape. Not all … but sadly, FAR too many.

Suggestion? Save your money and spend it in places where you’ll be much more respected and honored. Spend it with people you’re more likely to enjoy culturally interacting with. In other words, in this smaller digital age, it’s increasingly clear that you are wiser to spend your money in Africa or places with large African populations like
the Caribbean.

  1. I recently went to Phuket I am black british everywere I went people stared at me and were ignorant but I was on my own that is why they were brave I am big muscular too yhey did not like that jealous little fuckers so if u r black and one of the man don’t go ps if I catch any in uk I will make sure they get worse treatment fuck Thailand money grabbing hooker pimp nation from blackpanther

    1. BP … I hate to say it… but I know how you feel.
They’ve become the most brainwashed, ignorant, bigoted, racist, pieces of filth I’ve ever encountered. I can think of a couple of other countries that could be worse, but they’ve made themselves very clear.
But Thailand? I was utterly shocked. I’d spent two very good years over there back in the early 70s. Soi Cowboy downtown Bangkok was created by black G.I.’s .. Now? They act like we’re too dirty to walk their filth ridden streets. And they’re like that with other Asians too! Not the Japanese and certainly not the Chinese. But the Burmese and Cambodians? People who they’ve enter-married with for centuries? Now that those countries oppress their people into poverty, the Thais treat them horribly. All the drug addiction, crime and social problems are well deserved. When their shyt hits the fan, few who know them will cry. There are Europeans who detest them, but travel there because they can live cheaply and have the Thais lick their butts.

But I learned a few things.
Take what you learned and head to Africa next time. Some of the most beautiful women in the world are there. seven out of the ten of the fastest growing economies in the world are there. Select wisely, but go. Brazil is worth a look… and of course the Caribbean. Self-love Vs. illusion is looking us squarely in our collective faces. That doesn’t mean hate the world–on the contrary. It just means read the tea leaves and go for first choices. No point in being a “Black Panther” … it’s about being a warrior of the Heart. Raising our vibrations and creating sanctuary. They taught you more than you think.

  2. Have to agree with your post. I’m not black but have experienced similar behaviour. I have started to call people out on it. Including white folk who feel they have the right to be treated better. What is often seen in Thailand is degenerate old white men who couldn’t get a date if they tried in their home countries getting tons of action in the LOS. Kinda sad actually.

    1. True, and thanks for standing up.
It’s really sad what’s happened to Thailand… but perhaps in their quest to embrace everything Western (even “white skin”) that eventually they’ll discover the love of who they are instead of thinking they have to pander to be something different.

The social engineering behind all this is dysfunctional to the extreme. You mentioned old white guys who couldn’t couldn’t get a date anywhere else, but it’s also sexpats, pedophiles, and people who’d be living in cheap hotel rooms if they lived anywhere else. There are people filled with generational trauma that has turned into Personality Disorders as well as anti-social types for whom racism and bigotry are simply symptoms of their ruined personal psychologies. “Karma” will continue to ripen in Thailand. More of these guys will be robbed, thrown off roofs, and drink themselves to death in a culture that has agreed to drain as much money from them as possible. Hate begets hate.

  3. This is why I turned down expat jobs in India, Singapore and Dubai. My wife’s Tamil and she was unable to find make up for her skin tone in those countries. Even though these countries are in Asia and she’s Asian!

    1. It’s so sad… but such is the brainwashing of “Modernity.”
Divinity should look like you … whoever you are. Your image of “The Divine” should mirror you. If you can’t start with loving yourself, how can you functionally love others?
The old Buddhist statues throughout the country are very dark skinned. The new temples being built are white. ((chuckle)) Sad. Thais don’t even seem to know why their skin “needs” whitening in the first place!
